Thanksgiving in Missouri
Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving in Crane, Missouri where Brian's grandma on his dad's side lives and keeps cattle. It is on 850 acres of rolling Ozarks, which provided for some beautiful, refreshingly long walks.
Brian has a wonderful, friendly, fun, and welcoming family. I honestly could not have had a better time. My own family is so important to me and such a comfort that for Brian's family to be a comfort and a joy to be around was really important.
I didn't get any good pictures of people...perhaps I felt a little awkward snapping away at people I wanted to connect with more than observe... Anyway - so here are some pictures of Brian, me, and the scenery!
This is his Grandma's ancient house from the side ... It was a really beautiful house...
A nice red barn, good photo op...
Me trying to be an artist....
Brian and I...
Here's a nice horse that was in a corral on Helen's property. We liked him a lot...
And a pretty sunset...
And the road leaving Grandma Helen's ranch... so that's Missouri!
